Help Steven Rebuild After Amputations

Donation protected
My name is Steven, and for the past four years, I have been homeless. Over the last three years, I have suffered severe frostbite each winter, which has led to multiple amputations. I have lost four fingers on my left hand, both of my legs below the knee, and several fingers on my right hand. This winter, I lost my right foot and another finger, which meant another hospital stay and more time in a nursing home. All of this began on December 5th, and since then, I have been working hard to recover and find stability.

Recently, I received some good news: my application for an apartment was approved, and I am waiting for it to be inspected so I can finally have a place to call home. However, starting over from nothing is overwhelming. I need help to get better prosthetic legs than what insurance will cover, and a power wheelchair because it’s extremely difficult for me to get around in a manual one. I also need help with moving costs, a comfortable bed, and a recliner to make my new apartment feel like home. My doctor said I can get approved for an emotional support pet, so I hope to adopt one from the local animal shelter and get supplies and food for it. Since I lost everything when I went to the hospital, I also need help getting new clothes and basic necessities.

I would be very grateful and appreciate any kind of help anyone can give. I hate to ask for anything because I’ve always worked and supported myself, but now it’s so hard to do anything on my own. God bless anyone who helps. God is good all the time.
