With immeasurable heartbreak, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Noella Barnabe, who fought not only pancreatic cancer, but also dementia and a brain aneurysm. Despite facing multiple devastating medical battles, she remained strong, loving, and present for her family for as long as she could.

Jacqueline passed far too early — before her own mother, father, siblings and grandmother:

And her first and only grandchild, Hunter Lynn, who turns two on November 27th. Jacquelin loved Hunter deeply; even as her illnesses progressed, her face always lit up when she heard her granddaughter’s name.

When Jacquelin took her final breath, Steven Beattie was right by her side. He held her hand, comforted her, and made sure she was not alone.

Now, while grieving the loss of his mother, Steven is carrying every responsibility — funeral arrangements, documents, transportation, and supporting his brothers. To give Jacqueline the dignity she deserves, he has even had to take out a loan to cover the costs.
