Steven was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy Duchenne Type at age 3. Although this news was devastating, Steven has maintained a spirit of joy and courage. Even though the life expectancy is 18 years, Seven has recently celebrated his 35th birthday. 

Currently Steven requires the use of a ventilator, suction machine, breathing treatments, etc. A Whole-House Generator would provide Steven with proper and emergency electricity in case of a power outage which would be catastrophic. This need is urgent and critical to his continued care.

Future needs will include home renovations to Steven’s bedroom including heating and cooling, handicap van rental, wheelchair repair and need for a private nurse.
