Help Steven Cover Bills
Hi guys.
For those of you that don’t know me, my name is Steven March, I’m a musician and a longtime local of Springfield and the 417.
A little over a year ago, in June 2020, I survived one hell of a motorcycle crash in which I was nearly cut in two. I battled for my life over the course of 5 months and 44 separate procedures. Though I survived, the cost was great in terms of both the physical hardship of recovery, but also the financial cost of so many surgeries and life saving procedures.
I lost my job because, as a result of my crash, I can no longer stand or sit for long periods of time. We burned through our savings trying to stay afloat. Though I’ve filed for social security and was approved for long term disability, it’s now been 3 months with nothing from the disability office.
We are drowning, waiting for the government to throw us a bone. Help us survive until the wheels begin to turn. Help me keep the lights on while we wait. Anything you donate will go directly towards our rent, necessities, and the mountain of medical debt from the insane number of procedures.
I am not one to ask for anything, but I have to set pride aside and ask for your help. My community's help.
