Help Steven beat stage 3 colon cancer

Hello my name Sofia Cote,

Steven didn't have it in him to write this request...it's hard to ask for help, so I volunteered.
Steven was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease in 1993

His First Major Surgery was on 12/26/94 for a Small Bowel Resection.
He has since endured several Hospitalizations for Crohn’s related issues leading up to the 2nd Small Bowel resection in 1999.
So fast forward- So Steven went in for a minor surgery in February 2023 and biopsies were taken and results came back a week later. We again received more bad news!!
Steven was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer.
He has to take 8 weeks of Chemo, and 6 weeks of Intensive Radiation.
The chemo has taken a toll on him mentally & physically and his body during this process,
Steven had a PET SCAN done October 2023 and results came back that the cancer did not improve. His daily struggles are extreme fatigue, loss of appetite, weight loss, neuropathy, and nausea from the treatment.
Any type of donation would be greatly appreciated.

See History below.
3 years later, he had a third small bowel resection was needed in 2002.
It’s worth mentioning that each of these small bowel resections came with a weeklong hospital stay followed by months long recovery before he could return back to work.

His next surgery was on July 4th, 2018, and it was caused by a hole in his small intestines and ended with him getting an ileostomy bag. He then had to move back home with me & my husband (stepdad) for the remaining of 2018, before ileostomy bag was removed and reattached the small intestines in early 2019. The recovery for this ran another 3 months.
Which meant 3 more months without work!

All this while being an active father to his now 14-year-old son. While his son's mother has been a great help in this difficult process (given she’s been the custodial parent during this tough time.) He still prides himself on being able to provide everything he possibly can for his son.

So needless to say, Steven being unable to work has been a great source of pain and financial struggle not only to him, but also to his son, as well as his family (mother, stepdad & sister).

Sincerely
Thank you and God bless you.
