Many people know about my bicycle accident in 2016 and the head injury I sustained back then. The GoFundMe friends ran for me back in 2020 was very helpful at the time and I am so grateful to everyone who helped with that undertaking--it's still up and running on here apparently.

The Special Needs Trust set up for me in 2021 was supposed to take care of me going forward for life, but, as many of you also know, the trustee who handled that for me between 2023 and 2025 stole all of the money from it and left me destitute and begging again--this time with no house to sell or accident proceeds to live off of. A much, much worse situation.

I have tried to find any job and employer who would take a risk and chance on me since May 2025--over 1,500 applications so far and not a single call-back or inquiry--I wouldn't hire me even part-time with how my head injury can turn me into an unreliable and non-responsive zombie in the flit of a butterfly's wing.

My landlady the past five years who knows all about my head injury and un-employability for years now just filed a lawsuit to evict me even though I asked for FHA Reasonable Accommodation. I have a few days to come up with the $2,000 necessary to deposit into the court to stave off her and the sheriff from forcing me (and Binx) to live in my mom's 2005 Toyota Corolla that I still have. I will also have to have another $1,000 by 02/28/2026 to keep things "as is" for a little longer while I try to find the $5,000 I need to relocate. I hope I can source that myself, but that is an issue for not today.

My plan for every penny any of you donate this time around is to either repay it as soon as I am able to do so (likely not until 2027) or have you tell me to "pay it forward" to another needy soul like I used to do above $100,000/year before the accident.

Please help me with both any level of donation AND by spreading this heartbreaking-to-me fundraiser across your social media networks ASAP. All of you who know me know I hate being a beggar and much prefer to be the helper I always have been to so many people in and around my life.

Please help me get back to being that Steven again.

The photo of me in the bike helmet is from before the accident in 2016. The smiling headshot is from maybe 2018--years ago. The bearded one in the baseball cap is from 2020 during COVID. And the one of me and Binx is from 2022. I will try to add a current one shortly.
