I’m organising this fundraiser on behalf of my dad, Steven (Ash) Ash, who has been bravely battling bladder cancer for nearly two years.

After everything he has been through, Ash now has the opportunity to travel to Germany to access specialised cancer treatment that his family believes could give him the best possible chance of continuing the life he wants to live.

Unfortunately, the cost of travelling overseas for treatment, along with medical expenses that need to be paid upfront, insurance, flights and the everyday costs of keeping a family going, is an enormous financial burden.

We are asking for your help to get Ash and his daughter, Gaby, to Germany so he can focus on his treatment and recovery without the added stress of financial pressure.

Over the past two years, Ash has made some massive changes to his life in an effort to give himself the best chance of getting through this incredibly difficult period. He has shown so much strength and determination, and he continues to fight every day.

Ash and his wife, Mandy, are adventurous, easy-going people who have always been the type to help others whenever they can. They love their family, enjoy life and want nothing more than to continue making memories together.

This treatment could help give Ash the opportunity to keep living the free, active and happy life he wants — spending time with the people he loves and continuing to make the most of every day.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference. Funds raised will go towards:
