My name is Steve Chapelear and those of you who know me will know how hard this is for me to do. I recently lost my job and also my health insurance.

I am nearly one year cancer-free, for which I am eternally grateful. I still continue to have expenses for my cancer treatment follow-ups and for my monthly supplies that I'm required to have, most notably my ostomy pouches, which some of you might know are very expensive.

Also, I have no income whatsoever until I start my new position. I was recently rehired by my former employer, but I cannot start until November 1st. Any help with my medical bills and ostomy supplies, as well as monthly living expenses like food, electricity, and water, would be greatly appreciated.
