Greetings Everyone. My name is John Bueche and I am putting a fund raising campaign together for some very special friends of mine, who are in a tough situation. Steve Wanner experienced a tragic tree cutting accident in December 2008, that left him partially paralyzed and confined to a wheel chair. Throughout several years of coping with this accidents outcome, 2 rounds of cancer and countless other hardships over the past 10 years, Steve has maintained an extremely positive attitude and always views his situation with optimism. Unfortunately Steve was recently diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis and needs serious dedicated physical therapy to address the pain that has resulted from his lack of mobility. He has bounced between rehab centers and emergency rooms for the past 3 months and was recently admitted to Good Samaritan Society in Stillwater, MN. He had to quarantine due COVID protocol for the first 2 weeks he was there, which resulted in very limited physical therapy. He has just started receiving the assistance he needs to build his strength back and his insurance benefits will no longer cover his stay and rehabilitation. He and his wife would like him to stay to get an additional 2 weeks therapy but the cost is $5,000 per week. Adding a video that shows some of the progress Steve has started to make with therapy.
Steve and Tina are some of the kindest people I have ever met and they have been through a unfair amount of hardship and tragedy over the past 15 years. I'm hoping this message reaches some people who are in a position to help. They would never consider doing this on their own but they were always the first to help others before Steve's accident and still do what they can for others to this day. Hopefully they aren't too mad at me for putting this out there. They definitely deserve a break.
Working to add a video that shows some of the progress Steve has started to make with therapy. Stay tuned.
