Dear friends,
As you will have heard, our wonderful Steve passed away on Wednesday, August 20. What a life he led, and what an example he was of faith and joy!
A huge thank you for your generosity and love! As we spoke with Steve a couple weeks ago, he was so touched by your show of love and support. The funds raised will be used at the discretion of his lovely wife, Amy, and their children. We send our love and prayers to them at this time ❤️

Our dear friend, Steve Wallace, is battling Stage 4 cancer with his characteristic optimism and profound faith. Following his recent prognosis, Steve expressed his desire to complete certain items on his bucket list, including traveling with his wife while his health permits. Our goal is to help Steve and Amy fulfill these bucket list items and see the world!
We love the Wallaces. We met Steve and Amy while performing in the Nauvoo Pageant for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the summer of 2023. Steve was our roommate and fed us practically every night while we were in Nauvoo (and as many of you know, his cooking is legendary!) Steve has since performed in the Church’s production of "Savior of the World" and was preparing to perform once again in Nauvoo when his health decided it had other ideas. We are so grateful for our association with the Wallaces and for Steve's unfailing example of love and light!
Steve recently shared his thoughts and testimony on social media. He said:
"At night when I can’t sleep I think about regrets and if I would want to go back and change some things in my life. You know the. Big obvious mistake you would like a do over but how can you change all those life lessons and experiences that shaped who you are now. Would you be the same person? I don’t think so. So really I would just like to be a better Christian, friend, father, son, brother and a better person. Love faster, forgive even quicker. Refuse to be upset with anyone. Never look for insults or be critical about others. Be free with compliments and wait 24 hrs before you respond to harsh words.
"My friends, I wish to share with you my anchors in life! Joseph Smith is a prophet of God. He did translate the golden plates which is the Book of Mormon, a second witness of Jesus Christ being the messiah. God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are the three members of the Godhead. Christ was born in Bethlehem and paid for our sins in Gethsemane and broke the bands of death on the cross. We are led today by a living prophet, Russell M Nelson. I know these to be true and for most of you I will see my Savior and Father in heaven before you. I would love to thank you all in person for your support and prayers and kindness. I would give you a big hug and squeeze you tight against my chest. It would bring me joy to feel your chest rise and fall with each breath. I love you all so much! Thank you for being you and a part of my life. I want you to know that you made my life better!!!"
We love you, Steve!
