Help Steve Vieira In His Battle With Brain Cancer

In March of 2024, following a single, unexpected seizure at work, our dad, Steve Vieira, was found to have a mass in the left temporal lobe of his brain. He immediately underwent brain surgery the following day, which resulted in full removal of the tumor. After many weeks of waiting, pathology returned with a diagnosis of Glioblastoma - a grade 4, aggressive form of brain cancer.

Following his diagnosis, he completed 6 weeks of daily radiation and oral chemotherapy and is now still undergoing scheduled oral chemotherapy. He will need to undergo intermittent MRIs to monitor progression and assess the need for further treatment.

Before this diagnosis, Steve was an active, healthy, and hard-working guy. He was the life of the party, always keeping everyone laughing, enjoying time with friends, sports, golfing, and fishing. He is a wonderful husband and father and truly a light in so many people's lives.
