In April of this year, we faced the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of Sky. She was a loving, vibrant soul and an amazing mother to her children. Her passing was devastating to everyone who knew and loved her.

Sky’s children have endured unimaginable loss—not only losing their mom but also, in the months that followed, losing both of their fathers. these children have faced more heartbreak than anyone should in a lifetime.

I’m raising this money for my aunt/uncle, Teresa/Steve, who has always been Sky’s rock. When Sky’s mom was tragically killed in 2008, Teresa stepped in to raise her as her own. Though she was Sky’s aunt, she became her second mom, and to Sky’s children, she has always been “Nana.”

Teresa has now stepped up once again to care for Sky’s two daughters opening her heart and home to give them the stability and love they so desperately need. She has been working to make her home more comfortable for the kids, but the unexpected costs of renovations, legal fees, and funeral expenses have become overwhelming.

My aunt is a humble and selfless woman who hesitated to let me ask for help, but I know she can’t do this alone. I’m asking for your support to help lighten this financial burden so Teresa can focus on giving Sky’s children the care and stability they deserve.
