Hi my name is Steve Welles. I have been unable to work since March 2015 when my life completely changed. I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, colorectal with the largest tumors in my liver. I have been living on Cal State Disability Insurance through my work at Taylor Guitars. I have worked there for the past 15 years. I really miss it.
I find myself in a position that makes me very uncomfortable but my expenses have out weighed my Cal State Disability. Presently I am in the hospital because of excessive swelling and weakness. Every day I am here I have to pay 100 dollars that I don't have. I need to stay here until l gain back strength. I really don't know how long I will be here at the hospital but it will be at least a few more days. My oncologist has suggested I restart chemo. The plan is to begin this Wednesday and as soon as I get stronger I will be able to get back to complementary alternative treatments.
I am blessed to have the friends I have. So many of you already have been so generous. I am working on getting stronger daily I can not do it without your help, whether you donate or you share my Go Fund Me campaign it is helpful and appreciated.
