Help Cindy with Steve Sullivan’s end of life funds

Donation protected
update from Cindy-

It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye to Steven Sullivan my husband of 29 years. He has battled with his health for as long as I have known him and Wednesday night, August 30th, during a blue moon, he passed from this life into glory. I know he is in heaven with Jesus and finally healed. He was much loved and I am so thankful to everyone who has reached out to us and friends and family who have visited in his last days. For those who are far away or were unable to get here before he passed, I want you to know that he loved and cared for each of you and he hopes to see you at the throne of Jesus one day. A memorial service will be held once we can coordinate family schedules and I will post details here as soon as I am able. I appreciate your prayers for our family as we adjust to this new life.

Hello! If you’re reading this I first want to say thank you for taking time out of your day to hear the story of Steve Sullivan, whether you know him personally, his wife, his kids, or are just a friend of a friend.

Here is the nutshell of the situation from his wife Cindy:

Dear family and friends,
Some of you may know that my husband Steven Sullivan has suffered from cirrhosis of the liver for many years (which stemmed from a hepatitis C contaminated blood transfusion he received when he was a young man battling Leukemia). He has been in the hospital for the last 8 weeks dealing with edema and hepatic encephalopathy (confusion from toxicity in his blood). He has gone back and forth between clarity and confusion, lost over 65 lbs of excess water weight, been poked a million times and has made it known that he is tired of being a prisoner to treatments and protocols. He wanted to be free to come home and finish his life on his terms surrounded by family and friends. Today we made the decision to pursue hospice and the plan is to have him home an settled by tomorrow night. If you have a minute to hop on his FB page and say hello and share a memory or provide some encouragement I would love to share those messages with him. Of course you can share here as well! If you want to pass this information on to others who may know him who would not see this post, please let them know as well. If you are in the area an want to stop by for short visits I am sure we can make arrangements for that as long as you aren't afraid of (or allergic to) dogs and cats. :) Thank you to everyone who has held our family up in prayer this last 8 weeks, and for those who have stepped in to give me respite or to just make me laugh a bit. I ask that you would continue to raise us up as we cope with what is still ahead and as I try to navigate these life changes along with my job situation. - Love, Cindy

The long road he’s already been on is not quite over, but the family could use a little support.
If you can help with a donation, share this fundraiser, or even just leave a little note for Steve and his family, it would be appreciated more than you know.

thank you all ❤️
