Help Steve recover from his Liver Transplant

Hello, my name is Charlotte Smilovich. My husband Raymond and I are creating this Go Fund Me for our dear family friend of over 30 years, Steve Flanigan. On Labor Day 2019, Steve was diagnosed with the same genetic liver disease that claimed his mother Judith at the young age of 57. Ironically, this is the same age as Steve today. On October 26, 2022, Steve had a life saving liver transplant and unfortunately cannot work. Neither can his wife Cece as she is his primary caregiver. Steve and his wife have been quietly battling this disease because Steve never wanted to be a burden to anyone. If you know Steve, you know he’s always been there for anyone in their time of need. The next 6-12 months are critical for his recuperation, so my husband and I convinced him to allow us to create this fundraiser in hopes of alleviating any financial pressure so Steve and Cece can focus on his recovery. Steve was born and raised on the North Fork. He has serviced the entire North Fork as a HVAC technician and continues to reside here today. Now it’s our turn to help our friend in his time of need.
