My name is Steve, and I’m reaching out because I’ve recently experienced a devastating crypto scam that turned my life upside down. In a matter of a year, I lost my savings, found myself facing mounting bills and personal loans, and even saw my credit rating take a hit. The situation has been overwhelming, and I’ve had to rely on the kindness of friends who stepped in with loans just to help me get by. I’m 67 and semi-retired, but I’ve always believed in giving back. For ten years, I volunteered with a local school board, helping children learn and grow. I still serve as a substitute teacher, and for over 30 years, I’ve been a dedicated member of Rotary International—serving as a club president and district assistant governor. I’ve also spent 40 years volunteering for The Sigma Chi Fraternity, supporting young people and my community in every way I can. I have been a volunteer my whole adult life, helping many people who needed help. I have been taking care of my parents for 13 years, lost my mom three years ago. My Dad is 90 years old and I take care of him full time. his health is declining and now I don't have the ability to substitute teach any longer and I can't leave him for and extended amount of time, which hampers me the ability to work at all.
