My life changed dramatically on July 27th, 2024. After a long day at work, I returned home, only to discover my two dogs had gotten out. While searching for them around the block, I had a confrontation with someone and was shot once in the shoulder and once in the chest. This traumatic event set off a chain of health problems that I never could have anticipated.

Six months later, I found myself in the hospital, learning that I had cirrhosis of the liver, a liver mass, a tumor in my liver, and tumors in both kidneys. My liver and kidneys are not functioning the way they should, and it’s causing me to get very sick. I was also waiting to get surgery for my knees, but my illnesses have made it impossible to proceed, and I cannot afford the care I need. On top of all this, I have lost my home and the things that were dearest to me.

The funds from this campaign will be used for surgery, medications, transportation, and daily necessities that I need due to these illnesses. I never imagined I would be in a situation like this, and I am reaching out for help. I'm not going to ask for donations directly, but I'm in a time of need.
