Help Steve Rebuild After Largo Tornado Loss
On June 25, 2025, a powerful tornado tore through Ranchero Village in Largo, Florida, leaving destruction in its wake. Among the hardest hit was Steve Ewing, a kind and humble man in his late 70s, whose home was severely damaged.
Steve’s manufactured home suffered major damage to the roof, laundry room, door frames, windows, and more. His car was also damaged, and he lost many of his possessions. Water poured into his kitchen from the roof, and a large piece of flying metal crashed through his bedroom window — narrowly missing him and sparing his life.
Unfortunately, due to the sky-high insurance premiums in the area, Steve was uninsured at the time of the storm. He now faces the daunting challenge of rebuilding with limited resources.
We’re seeking to raise $9,000 to help Steve:
Repair his home and roof
Replace the carport and storage area
Address water damage and structural repairs
Help with car damage from storm debris
Steve has always lived modestly and independently. Now, he needs our help. Any donation, big or small, will go directly to helping him get back on his feet. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
Let’s come together and show Steve that he’s not alone. Thank you for your kindness and support.
