We are reaching out to ask for your support as our dear friend Steve faces the toughest challenge of his life - throat cancer.

If you have been blessed enough to know Steve McConnell you know he is the life of the party and the glue that holds so many of us together. A talented chef, artist and wine enthusiast, Steve has spent years creating unforgettable experiences for everyone around him. His parties are legendary- gourmet food, perfectly paired wines; walls covered with his artwork and music setting the perfect vibe. Whether Steve was cooking up a feast, spinning the perfect vinyl or making sure no glass went empty, he has always made sure everyone felt like family.

Steve has undergone three surgeries in the past week, and is facing many weeks of concurrent chemotherapy and radiation treatments. All of this while keeping up his usual strength, humor and positive attitude. However, the financial burden is overwhelming. The cost of treatment, medications, daily living expenses and therapy is quickly adding up. We want to help relieve Steve of this stress so he can focus on healing .
