Help Steve Jones Return Home Safely

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

On July 29th, Steve Jones traveled to Chicago to receive the life-saving heart transplant he had been waiting for. We are grateful to share that the surgery and transplant were successful! However, shortly after the procedure, Steve suffered a massive stroke that has left him unable to walk, talk, or care for himself.

While Steve’s new heart is working well, his life has drastically changed, and he now requires skilled medical care around the clock. He will need daily support from a skilled acute nurse, along with the unwavering love and assistance of his family and friends.

Our immediate priority is to bring Steve home to California, where he can continue receiving the care he needs. Unfortunately, this requires an airlift from Chicago to California with two skilled nurses to ensure his safety during the journey. This was an unexpected expense, but it’s necessary to get Steve to his new care facility, where he can begin his long road to recovery.

We are reaching out for your help to cover the cost of this critical airlift and the medical care he needs to get back home. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help us bring Steve home safely so he can be surrounded by his loved ones.
