Carrie J here, my brother Steve Johnson has been recently diagnosed with a rare 
form of Testicular cancer called Seminoma.  

Steve is in the OHSU hospital in Portland and has just started chemo treatment which will likely continue for the next couple days. We’re hopeful the his body can handle the nasty side effect of chemo and the tumor will melt away as aggressively as it showed up. He is feeling positive and is determined to live for more days to watch his daughter Kylee play sports and fish with his dog Steele.

At the home Kylee is living with her best friend and seeing Steve as much as possible while finishing her senior year of high school... all while playing several sports and continuing with her music group. She’s a busy young gal getting ready for the next step in life.

My hope is to let everyone who knows Steve what is happening and if you want to send wishes or thoughts of encouragement he would love to hear from you via Facebook.  In the process the of managing this cancer diagnosis Steve has not been able to work and my intent is to help him cover his expenses here with a GoFundMe account. 


Please know Steve is grateful for your wishes and help. He may not respond via text or FB as his current treatment is taking a lot of energy but he is encouraged by the rally of support and your kind wishes.
