Support for Steve’s Recovery and his Family

Hi, my name is Melissa (Sam to most) and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments Steve and my Sister have faced. My Brother in-law, Steve, was recently hospitalized with a perforated bowel and sepsis. It was sudden, serious, and incredibly scary.

Steve is the sole provider for their family, and even once he’s allowed to go home, he’ll be unable to work for at LEAST another month as he heals. Between medical bills and everyday household expenses, they’re struggling to stay afloat.

Asking for help like this is deeply humbling. They are embarrassed, as they’ve always preferred to give rather than receive. But right now, they could really use our help.
