Help Steve have urgent life-saving cancer surgery

Hello, My name is Steve Mika. I live in Southern Costa Rica on the Gulfo Dulce with my wife Emily and my 11 year old son Jade (who is in the cover photo with me). On May 5th I received a diagnosis from Dra. Josephine Hernandez at Clinica Biblica in San Jose, which indicates that I need surgery very soon for an advanced tumor. Her message to me follows:

"The cancer is a serious tumor and is advanced. The first step is to precisely stage the cancer. Once staged surgery is performed. It will likely require a full graft and complete rest with frequent wound tending for about 3 weeks. If the bone is involved the wound cannot be closed and radiotherapy would be needed in hospital for 3 weeks with intensive wound cleansing".

All these questions can only be answered after imaging and the first surgery for staging. The surgery and imaging , tests and hospital stay will cost 15,000 USD.
