Help Steve Churchwell Overcome Medical Bills – Your Support Can Make a Difference

Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, Steve is fighting to recover from back surgery. During his last surgery, he contracted a staph infection and MRSA. He has been fighting this infection for months. It has been an on-going battle that has required hospital stays, lab tests/MRIs, daily infusions and most recently, an operation to remove all hardware from his spine. He is currently in the hospital recovering. The treatment this has required has resulted in loss of income and high medical bills that are simply beyond what can be managed.

As many of you know and have experienced, Steve is incredibly giving and generous. He will give you the shirt off his back. I have seen him drop everything to go help a friend in need. He has kept half of Bay County on the road by fixing their cars. During and after the hurricane, he helped so many. I was one of them. I couldn’t put a price on the support I have received from Steve. He has helped so many people in the community, I was hoping we could support him now. I opened this GoFundMe campaign to help ease the burden of these medical bills and give Steve the opportunity to focus on recovery without the stress of how to cover these costs. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact.
