Help Steve Askren! Lost all belongings in Fire

This page is for my brother, Steve Askren. He lost all of his belongings and his support dog, Mitchel in an apartment fire on Sunday February 28, 2021. There were 4 apartments in his unit of the complex that were affected. Steve's apartment and 2 other apartments were damaged from water, smoke and heat, and one apartment had actual fire damage. The woman in the apartment with the most damage was taken to the hospital for minor burns, while the rest of the occupants are physically doing fine. 

This was a devastating loss to Steve; financially, mentally and emotionally. The apartment complex will hopefully find him a new apartment soon, but Steve will need to get new furnishings.If you could help him try to recover some of his loss, that would greatly be appreciated. All donations will go to purchase furniture, small kitchen appliances, utensils, clothing, toiletries, linens and anything else needed for a small one person apartment.
