Help Steve and Sue with medical and living costs.

Hi, I’m Steve’s sister Sherry. Steve’s wife Sue has spent the past 10 days in the hospital, most of them in ICU, after she was found on the ground in her classroom. After being sedated and intubated and undergoing tons of tests and a few misdiagnosis, it was determined she has Reversible Cerebral Vasoconstriction Syndrome (RCVS). As Steve said, the key is reversible so the intense headaches should diminish while vision problems and nonresponse left leg get better. Even with weeks or months of rehabilitation still to come, we’re so relieved and grateful that Sue is making progress toward recovery.
The other reality is the strain this is and will continue to put on their finances. Right now they have two households and their associated costs. Their health insurance deductible (I think it’s about 7.5k) and the loss of Sue’s income for who knows how long will certainly take a toll.
If you’re able to help, I know Steve and Sue would be grateful. This isn’t easy for them but it is one thing we can remove from their plate. I also have Steve’s Venmo, if you’d rather go that way.
