Help Steve and Laurie

A little over a month ago my brother, Steve Ghiozzi, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. It was quite a shock to our family and close friends, and we are all still trying to come to terms with it. Unfortunately, the cancer has spread quickly and is very aggressive. Steve has had one round of chemotherapy, but it has taken a huge toll on his body. He is scheduled for more, but right now it is literally one day at a time. He has been in and out of the hospital a few times since diagnosis. Immediate & extended family have been at his bedside to offer comfort, support, and prayers. Steve's wife, Laurie, has not left his side and is trying to stay strong for both of them. Though, on June 28th Laurie was driving from the hospital to their home and fell asleep at the wheel and had an accident. She has been beyond exhausted! Thankfully, she was not seriously injured, but did sustain a broken foot. She has been in a cast and must be non-weight bearing for 6-8 weeks!! As you can imagine this has caused quite a bit of unplanned stress to an already stressful situation. Laurie is now having to take leave from work, and she contributed a substantial amount to their daily/monthly expenses, and with Steve not working too, finances should not be something that they need to be worrying about right now. Our hope is that we can raise funds to help them during this very difficult time. We are grateful for any amount that you are able to give!!
