Hi, my name is Emily, and my partner Sawyer and I recently welcomed our son, Stetson, into the world far earlier than expected after a sudden and traumatic medical emergency.

At just 25 weeks pregnant, I experienced a serious placental abruption that led to an emergency C-section after our baby lost oxygen for several minutes. Everything happened very quickly and was extremely traumatic, but we are so grateful that our son Stetson was born alive and fighting.

Stetson is now in the NICU, where he will need ongoing specialized care as he grows stronger day by day. While we are incredibly thankful for the care he is receiving, the reality of a long NICU stay comes with significant emotional and financial strain.

I was also hospitalized for two weeks prior to delivery and am now recovering from an emergency C-section, which has impacted our ability to work during this time.

We are asking for help to cover:

• NICU medical expenses and insurance costs

• Travel to and from the hospital to be with Stetson

• Meals, parking, and daily necessities during his stay

• Lost income while we focus on recovery and being present for our son
