Help Stessie Fight Ovarian Cancer

This spring, our dear friend Stessie was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer. She has begun aggressive chemo therapy treatment and has a long road ahead.

Stessie's work on this earth is not done! A nurse of nearly two decades, she has shown time and again her gifts to others through empathy, care and support. To her friends she has illuminated light and love, and with her family she has shown fierce devotion.

We believe that easing Stessie and her families financial burden will help give her peace of mind and allow her to focus on healing, so she can get back to sharing her gifts and making this world a better place for others.

Understandably, this has profoundly altered Stessie's entire life-- including her ability to continue to generate income and support the day to day operations of running a household and supporting her husband Ryan, her son Carthan, and their beloved dog Zippy. This has taken a toll on Ryan, who is stepping into full time caregiving mode, impacting earning ability. Life threatening diseases can easily result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills.

We all know cancer can happen to anyone, but when it happens to someone we care about its a powerful reminder that everyone needs a village of support while facing it.
