Help Sterling Get Life-Saving Surgery
Donation protected
Hi Everyone!
A little over 3 years ago, I adopted Sterling, a playful and loving Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. We are a small family, but he is very much loved by me and my young daughter.
A week ago, Sterling was unexpectedly diagnosed with 3rd Degree AV Block of his heart. He is in desperate need of a Pacemaker as soon as possible otherwise he will have to be put down. The cost of the Pacemaker surgery is more than I can afford. Despite exhausting all other options, I'm left with no choice but to seek help!
If we are able to raise enough, the surgery will be done at Cornell University Veterinary Hospital. There is currently a clinical trial for studying Electrophysiology of the Sinus Node in Dogs who Need Pacemakers. Not only will your contribution be helping to save Sterling's life, but it will also help to further the education of Cornell students and the future of Veterinary research. This link is to Cornell Website regarding the clinical trial. https://www.vet.cornell.edu/hospitals/clinical-trials/studying-electrophysiology-sinus-node-dogs-who-need-pacemakers.
We are expecting the bill to be $8000 based on the information Cornell is giving me. No matter how small or big, your contribution will mean the world to me and my daughter. Thank you!
