My father is Sterling Baird. He has been a wonderful father and support system for me throughout my lifetime and a great man to the people who have the pleasure to cross his path throughout his. Just over two year ago my father had been diagnosed with Melanoma cancer. He had noticed blemish in a few places on his back about 5 years ago before diagnosis. He had to see is doctor about the blemish when he had noticed them to grow larger. His doctor expressed concern about them and had suggested that my father had get them removed and undergo testing. My father agreed and scheduled to get them removed. He went in and his doctor had removed the blemishes and sent them in for testing. Upon testing, they had noticed that the largest blemish was stage 3A melanoma cancer. They have been motoring him since his removal surgery 2 years ago. He had been getting severe migraines one day and not long after the migraines came he had been getting episodes of being very dizzy and confused. He had been concerned by these episodes and went to our local Hospital where he was admitted. During his stay in the emergency room while awaiting numerous tests and results he had suffered a seizure. The nurses and doctors were able to stabilize my father and have been carefully watching him under cameras to monitor these seizures. Once test came back they had confirmed that the melanoma cancer had spread to his brain. They have said the spot is about the size of a pencil easer. They expected he did have not long with this fast-growing cancer. They are currently working on scheduling his surgery this week. They will be opening his skull to access his brain to cut this spot out. If all goes well and as hoped for him during this first surgery he could gain several year out of it. With a successful outcome he could be able to attend chemotherapy radiation to slow this cancer down and help my father survive with several happy years with me and our family. He has a lot of family and friends by his side to support him through this time. I pray my father can make it through this and live beside me, my mother, and brothers happily. We ask for any donation to help his medical bills along with this and living day to day while being off from his job while fighting through this tough time. Please keep father in your prayers. My inbox is open if anyone would like updates or more information. Every share will count please help me, I need my dad.
