Help Steph’s family with funeral expenses

Hi, I’m Hannah, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my dear, amazing friend, Stephanie Palenick. The purpose of this is to collect funds to help Stephanie’s mom and family with their expected funeral-related expenses and support them following Steph’s passing.

On May 31, Stephanie passed away after a years-long battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was 34. Steph was an ultimate source of joy and goodness in this world and touched the lives of so many people. She fought so hard the entire time and should be remembered as the perseverant, tenacious, kind, creative, and loving person that she was. The world is darker without her in it.

She is survived by her mom, Nancy, and sister, Liz.

To help things be a bit less overwhelming for them right now, I’ve created this gofundme to help cover the costs associated with Steph’s passing. The family is responsible for medical and transport bills, and will also need to cover the final arrangements. The foreseen expenses are estimated at around $4k for the medical/funeral side as of right now. However,

dealing with the insurance company can change that number to be more. Anything extra would be put toward helping her mom with any other expenses to alleviate stress during this already difficult time. Anything to help make things easier for her. All funds raised will be directly given to Steph’s mom & truly anything is appreciated.
