My name is Stephen, and I live with my mother and my girlfriend. My girlfriend is an early child development teacher, and my mother is severely ill with chronic kidney disease. Despite working full time, my girlfriend and I have struggled to keep up with our bills, and we have fallen behind on rent. My mother is disabled and cannot work, and her health has made things even more difficult for us. We have faced many hardships, and now we are at risk of losing our home.

All of the funds raised will go directly toward paying off our past due rent so that we can keep a roof over our heads. We are truly desperate—my mother’s health and well-being depend on having a safe place to live, and our three wonderful fur babies rely on us as well. My girlfriend was recently cheated out of money by someone she thought was a friend, which has only added to our financial stress. We are doing everything we can, but it’s just not enough right now.
