Earlier this year my brother-in-law Stephen started experiencing some health issues that started off with headaches and dizziness which then culminated into having a seizure.

In July he had an MRI done where it showed that he had a tumor on his brain which has grown 4 millimeters as shown by his recent MRI at the start of this month. He has been able to get on an anti-seizure medication but still experiences the nausea, dizziness, headaches and insomnia that the tumor causes. He is at high risk for suffering a stroke due to the tumor pressing up against his hypothalamus.

Between hospital stays, testing, medications and being on leave from work while he waits for surgery, his bills and expenses continue to grow. Last year he and his girlfriend moved across the country to start their life together. They got an apartment, jobs at their local hospital and were both in school to become LPNs. Unfortunately Stephen was unable to take his entrance exam this year due to having to pause his schooling to handle this major health hurdle.

With all of this in mind we have started this GoFundMe to help alleviate the financial stress for him and his girlfriend so they have a few less things to worry about during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated by them. Stephen was in school for a career to help others, it would be great to see him be able to get the care he was giving to others.
