Help Stephen Get Back on His Feet After a Devastating Fire

Hi everyone. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas.

Unfortunately, we’re in a tough spot right now, and we’ve seen some incredible acts of kindness from the others, especially around the holidays. We’re hoping you can help us.

At around 3 a.m. on Christmas morning, my dad's house caught fire. He awoke to the shattering of a window that broke from the heat to see flames and smoke filling his home.

He narrowly made it out with his life, suffering second degree burns on his legs and face in the process.

Most tragic of all is that his poor little dog Bella, a two-year old puppy he loved so dearly, didn’t make it out.

The house was completely destroyed by the fire, and nothing is salvageable. He lost absolutely everything. All of the things he’d been saving to pass down to his children, the gifts he’d bought his family for Christmas, his ID cards…on top of healing from the burns and trauma, he also now faces the challenge of restarting from nothing.

We're immensely happy that he's alive but we're grieving and processing the shock, and now we’re hoping you can help us in some way to get Stephen back on his feet.

If you can donate even a small amount to help him with buying new clothes, basic necessities, etc, and finding a new place to live, we would be immensely grateful.

To lose every single thing you own is unimaginable, but the loss of his little Bella hurts him most of all.

We are trying to do what we can while his body heals from burns and his heart heals from the tragic loss of his angel.
