Help Stephen with his upcoming brain surgery

Hi, my name is Sherryl and I am fundraising for my brother, Stephen Vasquez, who has recently been diagnosed with Vestibular Schwannoma. As many of you may know, my brother is a loving and carefree person with a distinguished character that brightens up the room with his presence. Stephen is a husband and father to 3 children all residing in Bacolod, Philippines.

In recent weeks, Stephen has been experiencing nausea and high blood pressure that led him in and out of the emergency room several times. What seemed to initially be symptomatic of a stroke turned out to be a tumor in his brain that has grown undiagnosed to about 2.5cm in the last 5-10 years.  A good section of the tumor has now reached his brainstem and is impacting his ability to perform basic physical activity.  He will need to undergo surgery in a week. The cost of the surgery alone amounts up to almost 1,000,000 Philippine pesos. As Stephen is the family's breadwinner, this disease and required procedure will be debilitating to him for a significant period of time.  We humbly ask for your financial help for Stephen and his family. He will be undergoing radiation post operation to reduce the risk of cancer and further growth of the tumor after surgery.
