Help Stephen become The World Chocolate Master

My name is Stephen Trigg, I am a professional chocolatier, and I will be representing the UK & Ireland at the World Chocolate Masters finals in Paris later this year.

The World Chocolate Masters is like the world cup of chocolate, it is the pinnacle competition in my industry. The competition usually takes place every three years but was delayed a year due to Covid.

 

 
In 2021 I won the UK & Ireland World Chocolate Master title after a gruelling 8.5 hours of cooking and five assignments. I finished with a mere 40 seconds to spare. Talk about cutting it fine!

 

 

 

I will now compete against 17 other nations and regions over 3 days and 7 assignments in an attempt to win the world title for the UK & Ireland. My father was from North Yorkshire and my mother is from Dublin so I truly feel I am representing both countries and will give it my all to be crowned world champion.

 

 

 

 

I previously competed on Bake Off The professionals in 2016, but this competition is another level on the World Stage.

I believe I have a great chance of finishing on the podium, but I really need your help. There are considerable costs that are adding up quickly, and I need funds to support this journey. The funds will be used for things like: recipe development, ingredients, support team members, mould making, materials, equipment, logistics to transport everything to and from Paris temperature-controlled, travel expenses and logistics for the support team, packaging designers etc etc.

 

I have been to the 2015 and 2018 finals as a guest and experienced up close the level of competition, and it inspired me on this journey. It would be an amazing personal achievement to win, but I want to use this journey to inspire future pastry chefs and chocolatiers in this country to show what we can achieve!
