Help Steph’s battle with cancer

Do you know what it is to be a superwoman? A superwoman is someone who gives all of herself to her family (and boy is it a big one), her friends, and her community and asks for nothing in return.
But sometimes superwomen needs a little help asking for help, and that’s what I’m here to do.
I’m sure you know Stephanie Fox. How could you not know Steph Fox? If you have been denied the privilege of basking in her aura, here’s a quick bio: Stephanie Carmela Sabato Fox is a lifelong resident of NE Philly. She and her husband Sean have been together for a million years and live with their basketball team of children (5, yes literally 5) in Morrell in domestic bliss. Resident football mom, carpool coordinator, boo boo healer, & so many other hats, myself and so many others have been blessed to have Steph as a constant in our lives.
Devastatingly so, at the end of 2021 this domestic bliss came to a screeching halt. Steph, a long time sufferer of migraines, became concerned when her symptoms changed. After imaging & endless amounts of testing a mass was discovered on the frontal lobe of Steph’s brain. Two weeks before Christmas she underwent surgery to remove the mass & anxiously await pathology results. Steph has since been diagnosed with a grade 3 anaplastic astrocytoma, a rare malignant brain tumor that requires exhaustive treatment. Her husband Sean, the sole financial provider, has since only been taking side work & temporarily stepped back from his full time position with the glaziers. This is obviously necessary to assist with her recovery & care for their five kids: Sean jr 13, Matt 6, Aubrey 4, and twins Michael & Reggie 2.
Steph starts 6 weeks radiation next week, followed by multiple rounds of chemotherapy. Steph’s only concern is maintaining a sense of normalcy for her kids. This is very difficult with the family matriarch undergoing intensive treatment. Anyone how knows the Fox’s know they don’t shy from work and won’t ask anyone for anything. But when moms fighting for her life, I think it’s ok to ask for a little help. So after much begging to allow me to start a godundme for the Fox family, I’m here to ask for your help too. I’m asking for any and all donations to help with the Fox’s current situation. This including their currently staggered income, looming medical bills, kids tuition & general household expenses. Let’s give Steph the relief of being able to concentrate on recovery & not consumed with financial worry. Anything for our superwoman.
