Hello everyone,

I am reaching out for support as Stephanie is suddenly facing a major health challenge. Stephanie has been told she needs to undergo an emergency hysterectomy. It’s a difficult decision but one that has become medically necessary due to ongoing complications from multiple and large uterine fibroids/endometriosis as well as failed medical procedures.

For the past 5 plus years, Stephanie has been living with near-constant bleeding and pain, which has left her severely anemic to the point of it now being life threatening. Although she is often sick, and physically exhausted, she has continued to push forward performing, teaching classes and functioning through these extreme symptoms. This has affected every part of her life, her ability to work, and her day-to-day well-being.

This surgery isn’t something she ever imagined having to face, especially so soon, but it’s now the only path toward getting her health and strength back.

Unfortunately, the cost of medical care is incredibly high being completely self employed. The costs associated with this procedure are significant. Between specialist visits, testing, medications, a possible blood transfusion and the procedure itself, the bills are adding up quickly—far beyond what we can manage alone. Stephanie's recovery will take up to 6 weeks and being that I am her sole caretaker, we will need to cover basic living expenses while she is unable to work and while I care for her. Your support would help ease this burden and allow Stephanie to focus on her healing without the added stress of financial uncertainty.

Any support, whether financial or simply through sharing this with others, would mean so much to both Stephanie and I.

Throughout the years, Stephanie has donated to many causes, including to several friends and family members GoFundMe campaigns. She has donated her time/performances to fundraisers for strangers. She also regularly donates to animal rescue efforts around San Antonio and is always there for others in need. Now it's time we come together as a community to help her out in her time of need.

We are deeply grateful for the kindness, love, and encouragement from our family and friends. It means more than we can ever express.
