Help Stephanie Recover from Brain Surgery

My name is William "Bo" Underwood, husband of Stephanie Underwood. After almost a year of her primary doctor insisting she only had allergies, my wife finally made an appointment with a pulmonologist and was diagnosed with stage 3 squamous cell carcinoma lung cancer over 3 years ago. Her first treatment was in April on her 50th birthday. She took it like a champ with 12 rounds of chemo, numerous rounds of radiation, and almost a year of immunotherapy. They wore her down, almost killing her several times, taking her livelihood, her gallbladder, and then finally her sanity.

In August, she felt especially drained and it spiraled downhill from there. She wasn't hardly able to take care of herself or the house, ordering DoorDash whenever she could. She fell two different times in the shower sometime at the end of October; the second fall pulled the faucet out of the wall. She started talking out of her head, seeming confused, too agreeable, combining two stories into one. When she finally made it to the hospital, her ability to answer questions consistently was at 13%, when dimentia patients are usually at around 32%. When they did a scan, they found a baseball-sized cancerous tumor in the left side of her brain that had pushed all the way over to the right side. She spent almost a week waiting for surgery and then another week in the hospital recovering. She's at home now still trying to recover, but her head still hurts and she has a spot on her head that keeps bleeding. She follows up with the surgeon on Thursday and then has to do 3 to 5 rounds of radiation once it's approved.

I am an OTR truck driver and haven't worked since she went to the hospital and I don't feel right going back to work until she is ready. In all her confusion, she has overextended our credit and hasn't paid the household bills since the beginning of September. She gets a disability check once a month that is just enough to cover the rent, but there isn't any more money coming in except what is gifted, not even money for grandbabies' Christmas. We haven't caught up on October and November bills and here we are in December. God has been so good to us. Please just let Him guide you in what to give.
