Hi, my name is Jamie. My sister in law is a survivor of domestic violence. In November her live in boyfriend brutally attacked and tortured her for 2 weeks before she finally escaped. She called us from her son's phone and we rushed over to find her battered, bruised, and crying. I immediately called 911. She described her unimaginable 2 week ordeal. She was bound with duct tape, doused with lighter fluid, burned with a torch lighter, hit over 30 times in the head and body with a hammer. It is a miracle she survived. Her attacker did not stop there. He drained her bank account, stole her car with all her kids clothes in it and set it on fire. The car is a total loss. Stephanie owes 15,000 on the car. He also smashed her 1,100.00 iphone 12 max pro. She had insurance on both her car and phone however her insurance was due during the 2 week long assault and it lapsed so the insurance company will not cover any of it. Verizon also cannot help because we cannot get into her Apple account to turn the Find My Phone app off. The police caught her attacker and he is in jail. The judge only ordered a 1,000.00 cash bond. Luckily he cannot make bail since he is on probation and they are working on revocation. Anything donated will be going directly to her car first. She has a job, but no vehicle to get there. She cannot get a new loan until she takes care of this one. I will be posting articles as soon as I get them. Thank you for taking the time to read.
