Hello everybody, my name is Stephanie, and today I want to share my deeply personal journey of fighting cancer over the past decade. It’s a story that speaks not only of struggle but also of resilience, and it’s a plea for understanding and support during a challenging time in my life.

Back in 2014, I received the devastating diagnosis of angiosarcoma cancer. Initially localized in my bones, it spread from my pelvis to my spine and skull, leading me to undergo an intense treatment regimen that included weekly chemotherapy for nine months, 21 days of radiation, a full hip replacement, and immunotherapy. Each step was a battle against not just the disease but also the overwhelming fear that accompanied it.

Fast-forward to the summer of 2024: I began experiencing worsening pain in my right hip and lower back. After consulting with my doctor, I learned that I had sustained a fracture in my back. This unfortunate turn of events forced me to quit my job and focus on healing. However, despite my best efforts, I suffered another fracture, culminating in surgery in January 2025.

The challenges didn’t stop there. Following surgery, I received the shocking news that a biopsy revealed a new kind of cancer: spindle cell sarcoma. Now, I face the daunting reality of battling two types of cancer simultaneously. As of May 20, I have started chemotherapy again, with six treatments scheduled every three weeks.

Throughout this ordeal, I have been unable to work since the summer of 2024. Financially, I am at a breaking point. My current living situation is far from ideal; I am dealing with a persistent mouse problem that management has failed to address since I moved in. Additionally, living in a townhouse with stairs has become increasingly difficult due to my condition I've already experienced a fall that could have been catastrophic.

I am reaching out today not just to share my story but to ask for help. The burden of medical expenses and daily living costs has become overwhelming, leaving me struggling to survive much less afford a move to a safer environment. I humbly ask for any assistance you can provide whether it’s financial support or sharing this message with others who might be able to help.
