Help Stephanie Overcome Breast Cancer

For the second time in less than 5 years, Stephanie Freeman has cancer. A week before our 2-year anniversary January 27, Stephanie discovered a lump in her breast. We went to the first appointment at Vanderbilt Breast Center on our anniversary.

She has an invasive lobular carcinoma requiring double mastectomy with reconstruction. The biopsy and MRI showed 2 cancerous masses that need to be removed immediately.

This breast cancer diagnosis has stopped us in our tracks and brought us to our knees, praying and pleading to God for mercy and guidance. We've always trusted that the Lord is in control of everything. Even when something horrible happens, we know the Lord's will has a way of turning bad to good in ways we can't imagine or see yet.

After weeks of praying and processing what lies before us in the coming months, we've had several friends suggest a GoFundMe campaign. While it is difficult to ask for help most times, there's nothing else we can do but put our pride aside and turn to those nearest and dearest by being open to assistance during this crisis.

Stephanie and I are not only life partners but also business partners. With her recovery likely to last months, we are scrambling to keep our business afloat. We've spent the last year and a half renovating an 80-year-old farmhouse outside of Nashville. This has depleted our savings, and this was the year of saving money and working as much as possible to get ahead again.

This seems impossible now, but with God, all things are possible. We believe that with our whole hearts. We believe Stephanie is protected and will be better than ever after the cancer is removed from her body. Please help her in this way if you feel led to make a donation.
