Dear family and friends,

My name is Jai-Laan Blackmon. I was born in Los Angeles, named by my Aunt Stephanie, and am a college student at Washington University in Saint Louis. I am raising money to help my aunt offset costs for basic needs after being displaced by the recent wildfires.

My aunt Stephanie and her husband Lloyd are longtime residents of Altadena, who have unfortunately been affected by the destruction of the Eaton Fire. After 30 years in their home, they now find themselves unhoused.

Aunt Stephanie (70) and Lloyd (89) have served as the stability for our family and to anyone who has ever been in need. She is generous, loving, and affectionately known as “Teppie” to her nephews and bonus nephews and nieces.

Now retired, Stephanie is in desperate need of help to get back to a safe and stable place. We love our Aunt Teppie and know that you would too! Please help us to help her.
