Help Stephanie finish her travels of the US

Hi, my name is Cindy Reece and I am fundraising for my friend Stephanie Hargon to raise money for her to fulfill her dream to travel. In early 2018, Stephanie was diagnosed with a form of cancer in her left sinus that she was told was the size of a pea, benign, and was hopeful that it would be easily removed. Unfortunately, it returned again and again over the past 4 years, growing bigger each time and completely changing her life. After many surgeries, proton therapies, radiation, chemotherapy, the loss of her left eye, and disfiguring the left side of her face, Stephanie received heartbreaking news right before the holidays that her cancer has returned and is growing very rapidly. She was further informed that there is no more option for surgery, chemotherapy or radiation. After much advocating for herself, she has been approved for a clinical trial that she will receive once a month to give her a fighting chance.

 

Stephanie has a gypsy soul and loves to travel. She has traveled a little over half of the United States and her dream after retirement was to buy a small travel trailer and go wherever the road takes her. With this battle that she is fighting, much of that dream feels out of reach. Stephanie is a fighter and refuses to lay down and wait for this monster to take her life. She wants to make more memories with her son Angel and her best friend, the love of her life, Derek, while she is physically able to. Your donations will go directly to Stephanie.
