Hi everyone,

Honestly, we never thought we would be starting a GoFundMe. We’ve always been the ones donating or sharing for others, but now, our mom, Stephanie, and her family are facing one of life’s hardest moments, and we don’t know where else to turn.

Our mom, Stephanie, is currently in the ICU after multiple surgeries, including having her gallbladder, appendix, and part of her colon removed. She is currently still under sedation, with her abdomen still open, and on dialysis, while fighting multiple infections. Her prognosis is uncertain. While she fights to recover, everything at home has been neglected. Bills have piled up, and we are at risk of losing her house. On top of that, her beloved dog Duck, her goofy, lovable sidekick, needs care and stability during this crisis.

We are asking for help to cover urgent expenses, including:

• Housing costs and catching up on bills

• Legal fees

• Hospital and medical expenses

• Ensuring Duck is safe and cared for

Stephanie has always been a light to those around her. She spent over 40 years as a teacher, loving her students like they were her own. Her house has always been full of children, laughter, and warmth, including her own three children, Casey, Mackenzie, and Estevan. She’s funny, kind, and generous. Her favorite color is yellow, her favorite flowers are sunflowers, and she adores giraffes. Little touches that remind everyone of her joy for life.

Our family is doing everything we can to be strong for her, but we cannot do this alone. Any support, financial or simply sharing this campaign, helps us focus on what really matters: giving Stephanie the care, love, and peace of mind she deserves.
