Hello, My Name is Stephanie Clark I'm seeking help for a life-saving Liver Transplant which will extend my life to be with my husband and raise our two beautiful daughters. In the later part of February, I began having a sense of unease – nausea, weakness, and a constant state of fatigue. At first, we hoped it was just a passing illness, but by March, it was clear something more serious was at play. I was in and out of the ER and was initially told my gallbladder needed to be removed. I consulted with my PCP and was scheduled for the procedure a few days later. The pain I was experiencing became unbearable so I proceeded to the ER to see if they would be able to complete the gallbladder removal as an emergency procedure. Upon my arrival I was admitted due to my uncontrolled liver enzyme levels. It was then discovered that my liver was not functioning appropriately, and I needed an immediate transplant. Three days later I was airlifted to HCA HealthOne Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Denver, CO.
