Help Stephanie and Zane start over

Today marks a week since the fire that consumed LaHood Park Steakhouse in Cardwell, Montana. There are many questions left unanswered and we may never know why this happened or what caused it.

Our first priority, as we wade through this tragedy, is to try and help ensure that Stephanie and Zane, who rented the basement apartment at LaHood are able to begin to rebuild their lives. They have both been an instrumental part of making LaHood what it has become since Phil purchased the business in late 2017 and are family to us.

Stephanie and Zane were both thankfully able to get out safely with their two dogs and a handful of clothes, but by the time the fire department arrived on scene, the building was fully engulfed in flames. They have lost so much and our hearts just ache for them. Stephanie lost not only her home, but her job as well.
