Not the update Steph was hoping to give. She currently has malnutrition, reactive hypoglycemia, strictures in her esophagus, and severe nausea among other issues. Due to impactions, continued major weight loss, and the inability to get over 600 to 700 calories a day, they have decided to put Steph on medical leave for eight weeks and she will be hospitalized next Thursday for a dilation of her esophagus and an insertion of a feeding tube. They will keep her in the hospital while they make sure she can tolerate feeds and then will be sent home. Steph will post an Amazon list for those that want to help her get supplies as this was decided just in the last week. I decided to start a GoFundMe due to the fact that Steph don’t have enough sick/vacay time to cover her leave. If anybody knows someone or is creative themselves to make Steph - Harry Potter, Nightmare before Christmas, Bluey, or Stephen King G-tube covers please let me or her know.
