Help Steph Save Kiki's Life

My name is Judie and I’ve started this go fund me for our amazing friend, Steph Baker.

we all know Kiki as the attention loving goofball that loves to knock over Jewelry and get the cameras attention.

But now she is facing a battle that the vet has confirmed will kill her in weeks without treatment. Steph’s family has been struggling, but (In Steph Baker Style) she is a fighter and will do anything to take care of her family. She now has a night shift Job and slings Jewelry when she isn’t taking kids to Soccer. The Vet bills have already been over a thousand dollars.

steph is a proud woman and has a hard time asking for help. But without help, her family member, Kiki, will die.

With that said, here is a note from Steph.

Kiki our precious Sheepadoodle came to live with us during a very difficult time. Just a few months after I lost my mom and during the height of the pandemic.

She healed our hearts in so many ways!

She is the most sweet and loving girl we could have ever asked for!

We started to notice she was struggling to stand, to walk etc. And only being 3 years old, this definitely didn't seem right!

Her fun little energetic personality quickly started to change. She didn't want to eat or play or do much of anything besides sleep.

Her full diagnosis isn't exactly known yet, but what we do know is that she has a Grade 5 heart murmur, she has high fevers and an elevated WBC, which means she has an infection somewhere.

We treated her with a week of antibiotics, but she worsened rather than improved.

The vet is feeling that she most likely has an infection somewhere around her heart

( bacterial endocarditis)

The fear is that this could lead to sepsis which will be fatal.

The only way to determine if this is bacterial endocarditis is to get an ultrasound of her heart.

She also needs to be on a heavy duty 6 weeks course of antibiotics.

Needless to say, all of this is extremely expensive and was unexpected.

I do not currently have active pet insurance.

Unfortunately payment for any and all tests and medication has to be paid upfront or they can't be done .

I had to reschedule her heart ultrasound because I do not have the funds to do it as well as the 6 weeks of antibiotics.

I have never put myself out there like this to ask for anything, and it is NOT an easy thing to do, but I am literally desperate.

Without treatment Kiki will not survive this. Which is devastating to think about possiblity losing her because of money.

I have been asked by several people who want to help , to start a Go fund me! Which just fills my heart !

Me and my children are so grateful for the outpouring of love people have shown for Kiki.

People have come to love her by getting to see her on my LIVE shows. Her loving personality was infectious!
